Stripped hole on bottom drain of Pentair filter

T,

Have you tried to wrap a few layer of Teflon tape around the threads?

Worst case you could just epoxy it into place.

It is really only needed for those in the frozen north when the remove the water in the winter.

Thanks for posting,

Ok, thanks! And thanks for knowing that I was talking about the filter not the pump. :)

You got me on that one... I would not have told you to glue in the drain plug on your filter... ;)

Although, if it is broken anyway, gluing it in would keep you going for a while anyway..

And in case anyone is wondering--the bottom of the tank cost $400.00 at Leslie's and only $250.00 on Amazon.

T,

That applies to just about everything they sell..
