Ok previously I had been concerned about bondcoat and resurfacing without chipping away all of the material/plaster but the overall consensus has been that its fine and typical for my area. (Atlanta).
We are on the schedule for 2 weeks from now.
I am going with Tropics Blue minipebble and really not sure on the tile. I have been recommended the GMS and AZ606 tiles but thats basically what I already have. I also want to mention that I dont even like flagstone but my house back patio is covered with it so I am stuck. I dont have an unlimited budget but was debating on changing the coping while I was doing this project. I cant really find many pictures of flagstone decking with a different coping though. I have found tons of other decks with a flagstone coping!
1. My current coping is not loose.
2. one side of my coping has a natural look to it but the other side looks like it was done later or perhaps there was a reason it had to be pulled up and re-laid. You can see it in the pic if you look closely.
3. I thought about maybe a concrete coping or something but I am not sure.
4. I like the glass tile.
This has been said so many times, but I hate having to make this decision. I dated my wife for 10 years before I asked her to marry me; commitment is not my best attribute!!!
