    I tried when I posted the question. Said images was to big. I went ahead and sanded the rust off. Sprayed it with zinsser 1-2-3 and then rustoleum oil based paint.

    Just removed my liner to replace it. Man what a job on a 33’ pool. Anyway there is red rust in around where the steps were and white rust around the pool. What would be the correct way to address this

    I ordered the 3 hp pump. It has 2” ports but my skimmer and filter has 1-1/2 ports. Would it help any to change pipe to 2” then reduce down to 1-1/2 at filter and skimmer.

    Would I be wasting money on a 3 hp vs pump when I only have 1-1/2 pipe. If I read it right I would never be able to run the 3 hp on high.

    The 1.5hp has 1.5” port which my piping is. The 3 hp has 2”ports. Will it hurt the 3hp pumps longevity if I reduce it down to 1.5” pipe

    Have 120v now but can add 220v. Checked out the calimar pump. They have it in 1.5 hp and 3 hp. Which one would I need.

    would a pump on low turn over 26000 gallons in a day. I read somewhere where you would run it on high for 8 hours then on low for 16 hrs. Also I would rather have something I wouldn’t have to manually switch over if I didn’t have too.

    Recently installed a Stenner Pump it’s the 85 17gpd pump. If I did it right it should pump around 1.51 oz a minute. It has a #2 tube. Would it be best to pump chlorine into pool 1st thing in morning all at once while sun isn’t out to get more life out of the chlorine before the sun kills it. Do...
