Algae could cause the pressure to be that high? Even when the water looks really clear? I have no doubt there might still be algae in the water, (it looks crystal clear) but I'm still finishing the opening. It looks really good though, so I don't understand how it can cause so much pressure...

Is it better at picking up iron? Does it cause problems as it blocks or do you just need to backwash.

What's the consensus on this? I've been using D.E. but cellulose fiber looks very attractive due to light weight and "better filtering" but my gut tells me it's not as good and just marketing bs.

That's an expensive stenner, but that electric timer is nice, I might have our electrician switch our manual one to that electric one.
