Agreed ditch the sun shelf, we never use ours. Ditch the auto fill, don’t need it just put hose in pool or Let rain fill it.

We went with Premier pools last year. See thread below for build. Premier offered the most bank for the buck. i.e. water features, equip, travertine coping etc. were standard. We interviewed about 5 other PB in the area.

During the dig the bobcat will create a path of dirt from the hole site to the awaiting dump truck, the dirt road will help minimize the damage to the drive way, also the bobcat should have this rubberized tracks vs. steel tracks.

The gunite truck should park in the street and pump the gunite through a hose. You driveway may sustain light damage during the dig phase when the bobcat or other diggin machine is travelling back and forth with payloads of dirt to haul away. Our dig was at least 100+ trips from the backyard to...

We have a sports pool 3.5 on each side 6 in the middle. 2 small kids 5 and 8 years old and no issues. Everyone is able to hang out on either side of the pool. With deep pools everyone hangs out on only one side. Its totally personal preference. Congrats on your build!!

Re: will 10 feet wide be too narrow? Its personal preference, but yes 10ft wide is way small. Also no one ever says "I wish I would have made this pool smaller"

My auto fill cost $250 installed. It is just like the picture above similair a toilet bowl ball and chain. I do enjoy the convienence of turning it on and not having to drag a hose out.

I would definatly use him selling the company as leverage, if you decide to re-bid with the new owner. I'm assuming the old contract you signed is now null and void.
