We have the big winged ants I think they are queen ants . The swarm every year and always seem to end up in the pool :-(

Sounds to me like lightning got the windings in the motor and are shorting to the motor casing. If you know how or know someone ho has a meter then ohm out the windings that can tell you for sure.

The double pole breaker will be connected to both hot legs in the panel. Via the buss bar behind the breaker. It is impossible to install a double pole breaker , like the one on the bottom and it not be connected to both hot legs.

I’m soooo sorry I just realized that you cannot move that one on the end as it is actually a ( piggy back) breaker. All you need to do is move those two piggy backs over to the right then you would have an open slot for one just like the one on the bottom.

You do not need a new panel. You have three empty spaces in your existing panel. If you move the top left breaker all the way over to the other end then you have a space for a two pole 240. I circled the breaker with blue and drew an arrow over to help explain.

Oh and make sure you kill the power to that panel first!

Move the breaker on the top left all the way to the last slot on the right , then you will have two slots , one from each leg that will give you the 240.

Thanks. I’ve been watching drain videos all day and now I think I have a game plan. Oh yea, I did find the end of the drain pipe that connects to the deck drain and it was stopped up.

I know this is an old thread but can anyone tell me how to keep this from happening. I’ve been vacuuming water out between my liner with a shop vac that has a pump on it but I’m about at my wits end. My pool builder said that there was really nothing that could stop it.

The employees at Leslie’s in my town are plain rude and act like it’s a hassle to test pool water. I’ve called the main office and told them my experience. The fact that they have an attitude and their prices are double what you can get elsewhere, is enough to keep me from going back in there.

K-2006 Overnight test held at 5 but I checked at noon today with salt cell running and I’ve lost half.

Though I only used two cap fulls of it , I definitely am having an issue with maintaining FC. FC-0 CC- 0 PH-7.0 TA-70 CYA-70 CH-100 BOR—50 After adding a gallon of 10% chlorine and running salt cell all day and all night. FC was 5 last night
