I’ve read to place top rails after liner is set and filling begins. I don’t recall doing this at Initial setup bc I can remember adjusting overlap liner throughout the filling process. Pretty sure when I shut off this vac shortly I will see wrinkles on the walls. I’m only ankle depth in my 27’ agp

I know, right? Border isn’t perfect but wasn’t going back. Brutal week with 100 degree temps. Floor seam I believe is acceptable. Do you know when I should put the top rails on? If I shut the vac off there are some wrinkles in the walls ….

Soooo, I have ankle depth water in the pool. Everything looks good with vac still running. At what point should I put both stabilizer and top rails on? Prior to turning the vac back on I thought I would have to do more adjusting (overlap) but at this point I think it is what it is. Please advise...

Good description phonedave. Heading to the hardware store for adhesive spray and may get some more stakes and line. I’d like to paint the top rails but didn’t want to keep them off any longer than necessary. That option will be yet to be determined. I’ll let you know how the foam goes!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Good advice on “most available parts”. I tend to make things more difficult. A bit windy today but not 100 degrees as the first few days of this project. 82 temp will suffice but the breeze may be my nemesis as far as wall foam and liner. I guess we’ll see!

Ok, so in removing the old liner I see my gorilla pad is pretty yucky, spotted with algae. I wasn’t expecting that. The pad is solid but obviously had gotten wet Would you suggest reusing or eliminate?

Hello. I finally got my pool empty and today is the day. It’s supposed to hit the 90s and it just hit me whether that high of a temp could cause issues with install?? I will be filling with hose, at least the first half. 70s tonight but same next 2 days, mid 90s, 70s at night…

None of the above except yes, de filter (Hayward 4820). Filter grids were cleaned and refreshed at beginning of season. Pressure has never risen much above starting point except once when filter basket was full of beetles last week. Eww, beetle season in PA. Chem has been spot on. Cleaned again...

I am backwashing my de filter and realized no de powder is coming out. Water was clear from the start. I have a multiport valve on a hayward 4820. And yes, I know there was powder put in. Pool has been great. Last backwash was maybe beginning of June. Return flow was low yesterday, pressure was...

One more thing, please, to me it makes sense to do a thorough clean of my de filter after such a terrific SLAM. Pressure is holding well though. Would you still do a cleanout?
