Nope, yours is going the same as many others have and there is not much one can do about it. Just plain crappy material.

Northern IL - leave AGP up over winter? Pros and cons

I have a Intex Ultra and leave it up year round in Manitoba winters, all good. Been doing it for 3 years now with no issues. I just do the basic winterizing routine, put a mesh cover on it until the first snow, and leave it off for the winter.

    Cleaning Intex Ultra Frame Pool

Using the battery vacuum will not help really with the dirt, etc on the floor. It goes into the catch net, then right out again. I have one for the last 4 years, works great for debris, leaves, etc, but not for dirt. Those fine particles go right through the catch net. Best to vacuum to your...

    Intex Pool Winter Covers Needed???

Love the sand filter, best money ever spent. Do yourself the favor and hit the buy button on one. The leaf net I got from poolsuppliescanada.com, but I am sure you could find one at the USA site. Works great, easy to use, seems to be built quite well. 15 ft Round Mesh Leaf Cover Hemmed | Pool...

    Intex Pool Winter Covers Needed???

We get quite a bit of snow in Manitoba, and for last 3 years we do not use a cover at all during the winter months. I use a leaf met right up to the first snow fall, take it off and leave no cover at all. I did not want the walls to be pulled inwards from the weight of the snow on the cover in...

    DIY solar heater

Why does everyone continue to trash these folks whom are working hard on a project, something they did on their own, etc. If they found something that works for them, that's great! But continuing to constantly trash, bash, and run them down with opinions is getting really old and just plain...

    Dead algea

Just vacuum it up and see if it comes back. Obviously he did not wait long enough for all the dead algae to settle before vacuuming and you have residual.

    Best Solar Cover?

I used clear ones for 4 years, switched to blue for last 2 years. Blue seems to be better for some reason for keeping water warm.

Nervous and excited about my first AGP install

Nice job on the deck for sure. I have left our PT board deck natural for the last few years now. The previous one was painted and we hated it for the maintenance required. No matter what brand paint/stain, how well we cleaned the boards, etc., it always started coming off after a couple months...

Intex owners: did you leave yours up over the winter?

Never used a cover, found no need for it. Left my leaf cover on until first snow, then took that off. Never liked that idea of a winter cover due to the amount of snow we can get sometimes here. I feel it would put undue pressure on the sides for no real benefit. Now saying that, I actually left...

    Milky Water syndrome(need help)

Sounds like you have dead algae sitting on bottom of pool. I had that once when I used a flock before going to the TP methods. What happens if you just push your broom along the bottom for a little? Stir any clouds up?

Making progress but getting stuck *more pics*

Re: Making progress but getting stuck Yes, you still need to put supports under the legs. And please use a big enough width span, minimum +8" the entire width of the arm span, just not just the center section of it. Way too many times you see where the supports were not wide enough, and the...

16 ft Intex pool on concrete install

We had our first 16' pool on a thick packed sand base, contained within a wooden frame. Did its job for 3 years until we bought a larger Ultra pool. Have to pack it really good though.
