    Does it matter where I mount the one on solar panels? is better to mount on the cooler side going in or the hotter side coming off the roof? the other I assume is mounted by the pump. I didn't find any instructions

    dark ring around the water line

    I have a fiberglas pool and I'm seeing a dark color waterline ring. I'm scrubbing but it still remains, the source water is filtered thru carbon at 5 micron, so it not the source. What's the cause? What to use to clean it off?

    safety suction screen needed

    I have a 1 1/2" female bulkhead fitting that is unguarded. I was trying to located a screen cover that would thread into it. it is near the bottom on the sidewall.

    Mystery solved, one of the panels has leak, early in the morning I see a drip under one of them. I guess in the heat it evaporated before I could see it. I'll flip it over, I was told a few golf tees and silicone works. any better ideas? thanks for your help

    right now w/o temp controls the pool is hitting 100 degrees??? So the flow rate must be working, not 100% sure, I have some flow meters I was going to add, that's the only way I'll know for sure. But if it's not enough, where can I find booster pumps that may work? Ike have any suggestions?

    good idea to test it, I'll try that. the small pump is not high pressure, I intend to paint all of them, UV breaks the glue in joints if not painted. what other type of check valves are there? the ball valves are only temporarily until iget the bugs out then add the electronic ball valve...

    Ok, did it all in 2", runs great in few hours the temp got up to 88. I see bubbles in the pool return outlet's, flipped the valve to shut solar loop gone. I can hear a lot of water gurgling on the down stream pipe, I installed a drain for the winter on that drain side, opened and water...

    Ok great that helps. I thought once the temp hit's it set point and the solar valve closes, the water in the panels now not moving would heat up and build pressure requiring the need for a pressure relief valve?

    During the day should I leave the cover on if the temp is higher than the pool temp? Or will the water get warmer with or thru the cover? I've been rolling it up each morning & covering at night.
