    Okay - Found the culprit. Wasnt where I thought - but it was a crushed line - now the issue with trying to put it back together. EDIT - Put it back together - All Fixed. Giving it a couple days then I'll backfill and concrete

    Well the saga continues - put a hole in the flex line chipping the concrete. I don't know if its really going to be issue at the end of the day. Once I get it all dug out I'll send out a pic.

    yes its a rear entry skimmer. Yes there is debris in the skimmer - there is basically no suction. I blew the lines out with both air and water - I am certain nothing is stuck in the lines

    Finishing off plumbing repair

    All, I fixed a leak in a skimmer line and I had to chip away gunite from the top of the piping - in other words they covered the top of pipes in gunite. Should I pour cement over the pipes before I fill the hole in a cover with concrete?

    I have 1 pump for the spa and pool and when the pump is driving the spa alone its to powerful. I was thinking of installing a smaller pump for the spa alone - but I would like an option to heat both the pool and spa should I choose too. Can it be done? If so can you point me the the diagram?

    I acquired a separate pump that I am setting up as a stand alone vacuum pump. Currently I using a skimmer sock as a filter but I wanted to build some kind of filter to dump the water through and clean the algae areas while I open the pool. Has anyone built something like this?

    Pump wont prime off one skimmer

    Nope won't hold a prime with either line. I am thinking the flex pipe is collapsing. Unfortunately with old Anthony skimmers there is a T at the bottom of the skimmer vs a 90 and I have been unsuccessful in fishing a camera through to verify.
