Intellichem says it's dosing acid but acid pump is doing nothing

Just wanted to button this up and it ended up being the pump on the tank was bad (both the Chlorine and Acid tank pump had gone bad) apparently you are expected replace these pumps every couple of years. Pentair P/N is 522574 and they cost around $250.

Intellichem says it's dosing acid but acid pump is doing nothing

Intellchem hooked up to the Pentair Acid Pump and an IC40 SWG. All settings look good (Relay 2/ICHLOR) When intellchem says it's dosing, nothing happens at the Stenner pump, no movement, noise, nothing. Tried switching to a different pump (I had a chlorine pump that I won't be using) same...

Compool to Easytouch control panel J2D RJ12 connector

Does anyone know how the RJ12 connector is wired to the EasyTouch board or even why the J2D exists? I figured if I could just plug my current cable into their and then cut the wires on the opposite end for my control panel I’d have more room on the J20 com port to add equipment.

Mastertemp and Intelliflo VS Pump Wiring at Breaker

Got is, so just to clarify, you would suggest: PA215FG (Optional QF215AP since it is not connected to a pump and not suseptible to trips?) for the System Power, MasterTemp 400, and Breeze 540 SWG PA220GF for the Intellflo VS (QF220AP not reccommended as it is prone to trips) PA220GF for the...

Mastertemp and Intelliflo VS Pump Wiring at Breaker

Thank you Allen, that all makes sense. I have sons and there safety is definitely important. Is the GFCI only important on the two pumps, or would I need to add one to replace the system breaker (System, Heater, and SWG) and another for the Jet Booster pump, or is that overkill?

Mastertemp and Intelliflo VS Pump Wiring at Breaker

Sure thing, see attached a picture of the Superflo. I was curious about the whole GFCI breaker issue. My system has been running fine for 15+ years without it, and I wasn't sure if I really needed to spend $150+ on two new GFCI breakers or just spend the $15 on a new 20A standard breaker.

Mastertemp and Intelliflo VS Pump Wiring at Breaker

First, thank you everyone for offering your help. Second, I want to apologize, the breaker is actually a Dual Pole 15 Amp breaker. Lastly, I wanted to show a picture of the current setup. You can see that the way they wired the original equipment (Compool LX_3800 automation center, 2 single...

Mastertemp and Intelliflo VS Pump Wiring at Breaker

Per the Mastertemp Installation instruction: ”The filter pump should run continuously when the heater is on, and for at least 5 minutes after the heater turns off. Any switches in the pump circuit (including circuit breakers) that can disconnect the pump must also disconnect the heater.” I...

    Pool Equipment Layout

It's a mastertemp 400 and currenlty the exhaust is towards the wall, I wouldn't be changing the distance from the wall, just rotate it clockwise.

Is there any reason why the pool filter is alwasy situated in the middle. my current plumbing looks like this: But the access is always a pain for filter cleaning. I'm thinking of replumbing it so it looks like this: Note the pump on the right is my water fall pump. Any issues with...

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

So I decided to move forward with the Easytouch upgrade. Now I’m concerned with how the heater and salt cell are wired. Currently the heater is wired into the line 230 volt input which goes to the transformer that is then jumped into the filter relay which has the salt cell wired in at the...

Superflo Motor/Drive on a Whisperflo Pump

The SuperFlo VS is the 342001, the old Whisperflo I can't read the label, but he motor is a 2 HP, 56Y Frame RPM 3450, Eff% 70 rated at 208-230 Volts. I suppose I could just cut the pipe and replumb, may be easier. I was just thinking perhaps the Whisperflo wet end was better then the Superflo...

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

Got it! I did put all three under there but I’ll fix it with a wire but per your suggestion. Out of curiosity, why not just wire it directly to the breaker?

Superflo Motor/Drive on a Whisperflo Pump

So I’m curious, would there be any advantage to putting my Superflo Motor/Drive in my Whisperflo Pump? Only reason I was considering it was so that I should t have to re-plumb it.

Compool CP3800, going from a Single Speed Pump to a Variable Speed Pump

Hey Poolbreh, when you say move the pump to the line side of the relay, are you saying to simply take the wires going from the load side of the relay and connect them to the line side? The picture below shows the two wires currently connected to the relay connector.
