Definitely test your salt levels before hand! I have a small pool that was supposed to require 45 lbs. I only needed 39 lbs because of pre-existing sodium! I can't speak to that salt brand though. Sorry :)

I've opted for the 12g/hr SWG, after doing calculations. I can run the SWG for a smaller amount of time (1-2 hours) as opposed to 5-6 hours with the 5g/hr SWG.

Okay! That's more along the lines of what I was thinking. Removing half of the water would bring me down to 50 CYA. Then I could remove a little more. QQ: If I had algae blooms, why should I not have messed with a SLAM?
