Salt water and wasps??

I just converted to an and opened my salt water pool.

Yellow jackets are a problem here.

Last year, in my chlorine pool, I would have to manually kill yellow jackets in the pool.

On the first full day of SWG, 3 yellow jackets were dead on their own?

Is it a salt intake kill or a surface tension kill?

I have wasps too and they are unfazed by the salinity in my pool. Insects can typically tolerate wider ranges of salinity in water because the way they excrete waste is very different than in mammals.

Not sure why yours died, but I doubt it’s the salt.
