Intex Krystal Clear - When can I set up the self-clean function??

Hi fellow Intex SWG owners!
Anytime I try to set it up, I get the 93/Power Saving code OR it's turned on and generating, so the buttons don't do anything.

Help!

It cleans itself by switching polarity every time it gets turned off & on
