18" pool brush needed - white plastic bristles falling out

I have these hooks, don't see why you could not use them on an aluminum fence. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078RNLYYV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Done with the Quattro Sport

Not that this helps much but I agree with you @hepmama. I think Polaris builds these things to last 1 year and that's it. I have the Quattro Sport, provided to me as part of my build last year. It's been in for warranty repair twice in the past 4 months and now needs to go in again. My...

    Ledge Lounger Chair-Floating issue

I was able to solve this issue with mine, the high back chairs. Pick up the back of the chair (the high back) and lean it forwards towards the "hump" where you knees go which moves the water fill forward and stabilizes the rocking. Worked for me.

    Jandy Temperature Sensor/Probe

There are several on ebay for $20-$25 that claim compatibility for the 7790. I discovered them while looking for the 7786 (water/air/solar temp sensor). Maybe worth a shot? Also, reading more, it appears all these sensors are the same, but depending on the Jandy part number you order you get...

Help! New Home PDA setup Switching to iAqualink?

Check out jandyrepair.com. You may need to call/email as they don't keep the online store up-to-date. I have no direct affiliation with them, however, I have purchased several items (including an RS 50 pin CPU) and they deliver exactly as described each time. Keep in mind you likely will have...

    Jandy Aqualink RS PDA

If it's under warranty and you have a Leslies nearby they are an approved service center. If not under warranty, agree with the above, eBay for the best price but beware no warranty, pool dealers are getting around $1000 for the PDA, but you would get a warranty if they're an authorized dealer...

    Lighting maintenance

GFCI/bonding/and possibly a pool/spa safety transformer which takes 120VAC and converts it down to 12-13 VAC for your underwater lights. The safety transformer works by disconnecting the load should the transformer malfunction thereby effectively stopping voltage from coming down the line to the...

IAqualink turns off filter pump when pool heater reaches set point

@PoolGate Do you really your pump 23 hours and 55 minutes per day? Agree with the above re: pump/heater. I run my pump 10 hours per day on the iAqualink schedule, if my heater is ON when the scheduled pump turn off time is reached it will continue running until the temp set point is reached...

Traditional Robot vs Polaris Quattro Sport

Old thread, new post. I too am considering going with a Robot (Dolphin 200 variety) but my Quattro Sport has been working fantastic until just recently. I leave mine in the pool 24/7/365 and it runs for 90 minutes each day via my automation. The Quattro Sport was included in my build along...

    iAqualink Reporting Weird Temperatures

Same. I moved mine to get it out of the direct sun, what I did not realize is the air temp probe needs to be vertical or it will wildly fluctuate, at least mine did. When I moved it I mounted it horizontal and the air temp would bounce around 5-10 degrees every 30 seconds. Once I changed it...

PH/TA levels always on the move

The only fill water is coming from rain right now. The only items I add to my pool are as follows: Muriatic Acid 31.45% (when the PH is above 8) Diamond Crystal Splash Ready Salt (when it tests below 3000) Puri Tech Cyanuric Acid (when CYA tests below 55-60) Robelle Calcium Plus (when CH tests...

PH/TA levels always on the move

Will check my source water, however, I don't add much water to my pool, in fact, my autofill has been turned off for the past 6 full months (its connected to a hose bib which is off). We've had enough rain to keep it "too full" and the leveler is usually draining.

PH/TA levels always on the move

Any recommendations would be much appreciated regarding PH/TA levels. Some quick background, the pool was completed and filled in July 2021, it's a gunite/plaster/SWG setup. I've had to add MA just about every 2-4 weeks as my PH likes to creep up to 8.0-8.2 since the pool was opened. I've...

    Jandy heater not turning on.

If you have the JXi 400K BTU heater you need at least 40 gpm to active the flow switch for ignition to take place. If this happens again you should see a message on the JXi heater display "No Flow"

    Jandy heater not turning on.

Glad you got it working, seems it was a flow issue possibly. I have all Jandy equipment and my JXi heater is connected to the panel via firemans switch, not RS485 which is why you don't see "Remote TSAT" so apologies for any confusion above.

    Jandy heater not turning on.

When you select heater are you prompted to enter your desired temperature? The sound you hear is the bypass opening, provided there is enough flow the heater will begin it's cycle/ignition phase. If there is not enough flow it will never begin the ignition sequence. What is your program set...

    Adding additional JVA to iAqualink

Very interesting, looks like Page 7 and Page 9 confirms the Smart JVA indeed has a relay since you need to supply power to the Smart JVA from the power center 24 volt wiring, just like the Aux Relay board and it has the same connection back to an open AUX port for control/assignment from what I...

I was/am looking at the Smart JVA but don't know if I need this since my 2 JVAs will be cammed for my use/purposes. I like you can control them in 5% increments with the Smart JVA but don't know if I would use that feature enough to make it worth it UNLESS the Smart JVA also has a relay similar...

    Adding additional JVA to iAqualink

Thanks. Looks like Jandy makes such a device for this situation, 5254 Aux Relay board (Installation guide). Seems if you have a single body of water CPU you can assign the Intake and Return to an AUX button as well, so highly dependent on each users particular setup if you need relay boards...
