Intellicenter freeze protection and auto cover

The pool heater was on and the water was 45°, so there was no need for the slide to turn on. The freeze protection turned on because of the ambient air conditions not because of the water temp.

Intellicenter freeze protection and auto cover

What would you guys do? My pool is 2 1/2 years old. Our pool builder said not to do anything special when the temps dropped into the 30s because the pool pump runs at night. However, the intellicenter had freeze protection on so our slide turned on without our knowledge and dumped a ton of water...

    Auto cover box access

I know this is a big ask but would it be possible for anyone to post pictures or a video of how they access their auto cover box in a pool similar to mine? Long story short, we have been having issues with our auto cover box – tiles falling off, also the lids have to be lifted off of the box and...

    Autocover box

The trays are upside down because when we opened them a few days ago they were not attached to anything, they kind of fell apart from the pavers. We went ahead and lifted them up and set them aside to clean out the auto cover box. Currently the trays are not attached to anything they are just...

    Autocover box

Hello, last summer when our landscapers were cutting the papers for the auto cover box they cut them too long initially which did not allow access. They were grouted down in some way. They then peeled off the pavers, cut them and re-grouted them down. (I have no idea what they used to seal them...

It’s the shallow end, the tracks are working/seem to be aligned fine.

    Autocover

Our auto cover never completely lined up with the shallow end when closed. The auto cover has been on for about six months. It seems like the gap is getting bigger. I sent a picture to our pool builder several weeks ago but haven’t heard anything. Is this something that needs to be fixed? I am...

    Lid trays for coping

They mortared the stones directly on top of the rust, I still don’t know how to open the coping trays and cannot find any YouTube videos. 😩

    Lid trays for coping

The new pool with rust saga continues. The coping stones were mortared to the lid trays. One of the trays has been left uncovered and now is covered in rust. I thought the coping stones were supposed to be lifted off of the lid trays and then the lid tray could be opened. Any ideas on why this...

    Rust on new fiberglass stairs!

    Rust on new fiberglass stairs!

Our pool builder actually got back to us and he thinks that because the landscapers were cutting the pavers next to the pool that some of the metal could be getting in and causing the issue. Any suggestions on what I should do? Would adding a scale and metal control product help?

    Rust on new fiberglass stairs!

Although I will say the slide is leaking and the basin we placed underneath to catch the leaking water is now filled with rust particles so I guess it’s always a possibility.

    Rust on new fiberglass stairs!

None! The only thing it could possibly be is if there was rust inside the tubing of our brand new slide but I would highly doubt that.

    Rust on new fiberglass stairs!

Hello, I had posted a while back about there being some rust on a new railing. I noticed today there are a few spots of rust on my new fiberglass pool stairs, also on the stairs that aren’t even close to the rail. Is rust really to be expected for a new fiberglass pool? It is a Thursday pool. My...

    Rust

I’m not sure what a pipe clamp is but the rail is attached through the coping so it is only a couple of inches from the pool. I don’t think there is actually rust on the pavers, there is an area that looks a little bit darker but I think that is the grout they were using to attach the pavers to...

    Rust

All the chemistries are within normal range except the total alkalinity is high at 150. It is hard for me to get that down right now because our slide has a leak in it so I do not have a great way to aerate if I drop the pH. I ended up just calling the manufacturer myself and they said it...

    Rust

He is saying it is because our pool is salt (which he did not want us to get). Does anyone have any advice on what to say? Our chemistry is fine.

    Rust

Hello, our pool actually isn’t done yet. We have noticed some areas of rusting. Is this to be expected? Is there anything we can do to prevent it?
