Question about sump line for pool / any recourse on excessive billing fees?

So I'm currently in the process of an inground vinyl liner build in Michigan. 18' X 40' with a deep end. Initially I was quoted for a sump line because "I might need it depending on how much clay is in the soil." OK ... there was less clay in the soil than anticipated. I asked about the sump...

    Basic automation question

I am getting a pool frog for our inground pool build (mineral/chlorine) as I have used it on our above ground and love it. I’m not interested in SWG. I’m looking for very basic automation like programs to keep the pump on a timer, turning on the heater and light. I will also have a stand...

    My AquaSport 52 Build

We are having the same pool, same size installed inground next year so I’m looking forward to following your thread. Are you treating the walls with anything? Backfilling with just dirt? How many pavers were needed? Thanks!

    aquasport 52

Wondering if you installed your pool or ever got an answer to your question? From what I can find, a slurry is not needed for this pool as it is for rolled wall pools because the walls are much stronger. We are planning to have ours installed full inground next spring.

Reasonably priced Automatic Safety pool cover

Installing a budget pool (15 x 30 oval aquasport 52 installed inground). and looking for a reasonably priced automatic pool cover. I am open to the “manual” versions if they can be open and closed by one adult. I know it’s a large expense considering our project but I have a 3 year old with...

    Auto pool cover for pavers

We were thinking about pavers around the pool edge and I wasn’t sure it could attach to that either. But ... after looking at paver options we decided today to get some concrete quotes since we need a patio anyway (was planning to get pavers for that too but quotes are coming in at 24/sf...

    Auto pool cover for pavers

Hello. We are having an aquasport 52 AGP buried fully inground next spring. Does anyone know of an auto pool cover that can be installed on grass? I have found the anchors for safety cover in grass but hoping for an easy everyday cover that also provides safety benefits. Thank you.

Looking for above ground pools to bury. Specifically Aquasport 52 vs Premiere aluminum monument (previously Esther Williams millennium)

The title says it all. We are looking at the easiest and most economical options to bury a pool in Michigan. Don’t want anything that requires cement as that is a whole other set of rules and regulations. I see a lot of info online about the Aquasport but haven’t been able to locate a...

    Hi, first season

Wow! Did you pay $20k to have your pool installed? That would be $45-$50k here in Michigan for an installer.

Looking for above ground pools to bury. Specifically Aquasport 52 vs Premiere aluminum monument (previously Esther Williams millennium)

Hello. We are first time pool owners. Hubby really wants a pool with a deck all the way around it. We have looked into Kayak pools and also Admirals Walk. Kayak pool was more attractive, with a matching price tag. Still, admiral’s Walk only about $4,500 cheaper for same size pool. When we...
