Since you had issues, did you roll back via USB or via this process?

Intellivalve Not Moving in Spillway Mode w/ Intellicenter

Thanks, @Ahultin . I just looked at my version and I am indeed on 2.006. It sounds like this might be the issue and I just found the post on reverting back. Have any of you reverted back using the panel and had issues with configuration? I saw a few posts where it looks like people had some...

Intellivalve Not Moving in Spillway Mode w/ Intellicenter

Very helpful. Thanks for the troubleshooting recommendations and thoughts. I’ll give this a try tomorrow and report back. Maybe I also need to try to reprogram the endpoints one more time. I thought I did it correctly but it’s probably worth me doing it again just to be sure after I try your...

Intellivalve Not Moving in Spillway Mode w/ Intellicenter

Thanks. I didn’t realize there were switches on intellivalves and will check to see if I can find it tomorrow when it’s light out. I just took a look at the intellivalve online manual and couldn’t find anything called out but I’ll check the actual valve tomorrow. Do you know where on the...

Intellivalve Not Moving in Spillway Mode w/ Intellicenter

I'm in Austin where we just had an ice storm last week and we lost power for 24hrs so my Intellicenter and all equipment was off during this time. I have a feature circuit setup called Spillway. When I turn on this circuit, the pump speed increases and the return valve is supposed to rotate to...

IntelliCenter 1.064 Firmware and New Mobile App IntelliCenter2

I got the watch app to work. Once you download Intellicenter2, open the watch app. I got the same prompt as you. I tried logging out on the phone app and then logging back in and connecting "remote" while my watch was open on this screen and it synced my email address and let me in with the...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

Great idea, Jeff. Admittedly I didn’t program the intellivalves as it was done as a part of startup. I know how to put them in manual mode to manually move them to a position instead of auto which allows the Intellicenter to control them. Now I just need to figure out how to set the actuated...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

I figured this out and have it working. I just needs to be patient as the pump starts up and spins high for a minute or 2 before slowing down to set speed. So I woke up this morning and the spa was full so I was bullish. However, I had a schedule to run the spillway 8-830am this morning and...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

We have some more winter weather coming our in way in Texas over the next several days. It's looking like weather in my part of Austin will get to around 32 degrees around 4am or 5am Thursday morning before pushing into the twenties by 7am on Thursday and then into the teens around 2pm on...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

That helps, thanks. The only piece I still don't understand is the bubbler circuit freeze protect. My pool/spa is run by pump #1. My bubbler/water sheers are run by pump #2. Let's say pump #1 is running on pool mode. If I enable freeze protect on the bubbler feature circuit and set the pump...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

Thanks for the recommendation. What makes the spa much less likely to freeze than the pool? I'm still learning so apologies if I'm missing something obvious. Also, I had a feature circuit for my bubblers where I enabled freeze protection and the pump speed seemed to be overridden. Did you do...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

Ugh, that's brutal. I'm sorry that happened @Mr. Mike . I can verify that it DID NOT work for me. It appears the freeze protection DID bypass the setting that shuts off the pump when the valves move. We had freezing temperatures in Austin today and it seems I'm losing roughly an inch an hour...

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

Does the logic only look at air temperature? I figured it would be some combination of air temperature as well as water temperature to kick on freeze protection?

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

Sounds like we’re in the same boat, @Mr. Mike . I logged in to Intellicenter through a web browser and found the setting that allows you to turn off the pump while valves move. I checked the box and will have to watch it closely during the next freeze.

Raised Spa Losing Water During Freeze Protection

This is my first winter with my pool and temperatures dropped into the mid 20's last night in Austin. The Freeze protection in the Intellicenter did kick in and do it's thing. However, when I woke up this morning, the system was on spa mode and the water in the spa was at the light niche (almost...

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

Ah, I think that’s the piece I’ve been missing @jseyfert3 . So then is there a downside to continuing to let the pH rise well into the 8’s if CSI is still negative? With my readings, the higher the pH the closer to 0 the CSI becomes (while still being negative).

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

My understanding was I should not let the pH get much higher than 8 to avoid scale. In order to do this, I would add acid to move it down to 7.6 and then ride it up again as long as I can while ensuring it doesn't stay north of 8 and repeat. Just to make sure I understand your comment on the...

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

Should I consider raising the TA to reduce the negativity of the CSI? Here are my most current readings: FC: 7 pH: 8.0 TA: 60 CH: 460 CYA: 80 Salt: 3350 BOR: 44 Water Temp: 60 CSI: -.42 Using poolmath, an increase in TA from current 60 to 80 would change my CSI value from -0.42 to -0.07. When...

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

No, I’m only running for 30 min in morning and 30 min in afternoon. When you say my ph shouldn’t rise that quickly, what would be your expectation on how fast it would rise?

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

Thanks, @ajw22 I clearly must have misread a thread somewhere. I’ll start running between 7.6 and 8.0 and see how often I’m having to add acid as I suspect it will be every other day. If I key in 7.6pH in PoolMath, it’s still coming up with a CSI of -0.47. Doesn’t that seem too far negative or...

    Borates, pH Impact to CSI

Hi All, I've looked at all the guidance here on TFP and focused on keeping my chemistry in range using PoolMath. However, it seems while I'm in range with the TFP recommendations, my CSI is highly negative. For example, here are my readings: FC 5 pH 8.2 TA 60 (2 weeks ago) CH 500 (15 days...
