    Umbrella base

I recently built a deck for our above ground pool and bought a cantilevered umbrella with square base (filled with sand). The setup is stable but there is no room on the deck for the base. Are there any compact bases for cantilevered umbrellas? This is the base I bought...

    Winterizing above ground pool

I have a small above ground pool and last year had a service come out to winterize it. They blew out the lines with an air compressor and put the cover on. This year I want to do this myself. My setup is: 18' round 54" deep pool. Permanent installation. raypack heat pump rj 30 SWG Pentair...

How to fence off pool equipment.

I think privacy fence will match well. The problem is its sold out everywhere. The cheapest I can find costs $1200 just for 1 gate, some posts, and 2 panels.

How to fence off pool equipment.

I am trying to fence off my above ground pool equipment. My son has special needs and keeps getting on top of it. I have a heat pump so cant cover that and cant just put a screen on both sides because I need to be able to get to it. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Drain free pool cover

Do you have any issues with water getting dirty and growing algae? A friend told me I should have gotten a solid cover since this type of cover will let in rain and snow water.

    Drain free pool cover

Hello, I am doing a pool closing for the first time and bought the following cover. I am in the northeast and am wondering if this is a mistake. https://www.poolsupplies.com/product/hpi-18-ft-round-ultimate-winter-cover 1. Is drilling into the pool posts going to rust them out? We have a...

    SWG recommended power

My pool has only 7500 gallons. Is this based on 30,000 gallons? My cya is 60-70. I am basing 1-3ppm on circupool manual. Is 3ppm too low?

    SWG recommended power

Thanks everyone. I think the rj-30 is oversized for my pool (i got free upgrade from RJ-16) . I will run it at 25% power for a couple of hours next time. First time I ran overnight at 50% power it made too much chlorine (8ppm).

    SWG recommended power

I just had a new above ground pool installed with the circupool rj-30. The pool is 7500 gallons and I got a free upgrade on the swg. I know that chlorine should be 1-3ppm but I don’t know how long to run the swg and what power. Is there a way I can set it and let it run without constantly...

    Pool heater

Thanks for the response. I am very excited to join the pool crowd. I don’t mind that rate of heat as long as I can get 6-7 degrees on a 70 degree day at season open. I just watched this guy and he made a lot of sense. The pool wall is still steel. Plus a sacrificial anode cost nothing.
