My pH is a little too high and my chlorine is low. Question is, can I add acid and chlorine at the same time or do I need to wait several hours in between?

If my sand filter is doing fine, is there any reason to convert to a cartridge filter? Any advantages. I would think it filters more efficiently and it’s easier to clean and easier to replace then sand but I’m not sure. Any thoughts?
My filter pressure is 12 psi. I back washed and put it back on filter and it is still 12. Isn’t that a little high? Is there anything I need to be concerned about?
I said it wasn’t in the kit but I was mistaken on what type of kit I have and it is not in the current kit I have. I told you later in the thread that I ordered it yesterday.
My bad, my FAS- DPD test had expired and I need to get some more. Should I use that test, since I am new to it, instead of the chlorine test in the TF 100?
Should I use Dichlor or Trichlor tabs to maintain chlorine? Also, if they both contain stabilizer and stabilizer don’t dissipate, eventually will my stabilizer become to high?
thank you and appreciate any information
