My filter pressure is 12 psi. I back washed and put it back on filter and it is still 12. Isn’t that a little high? Is there anything I need to be concerned about?
How is your filter working? Keeping your water sparkling??
If it could be better your filter may benefit from a good deep clean- Deep Cleaning a Sand Filter
After a good deep clean you should be able to know your clean filter pressure reading. Once you know that you'll know when to clean the filter when it increases 25%. A slightly dirty filter actually helps filter, but if its older sand it may have developed channels which allows the water to pass right thru rather than filter thru.
My filter's clean pressure is 12. It changes also based on which valves I have closed.
