It auto updates the prior version. I uninstalled it yesterday, loaded the old version and after a few hours it updated itself, did the same at 7am this morning and by 11am it was prompting me to add a password and accept the ula. I'm checking to see how I can block the auto update feature.

I see Pentair forced the V2.1.0.59 upgrade to me on Android. I see some improvements, but not sure I like the that they didn't give me an option to keep the old version. Now if they'd upgrade SLConfig so the email notifications work again the would be nice.

I'm with you, spent over $1600 on a M600 that is pure crape. Thank goodness for AMEX extended warrenty and "lemon" guarantee. Of the 2 M600's I've had in less than 3 years, they have been sent back to Maytronic over 15+ times for repair. 10 of those time were on my dime at $60+ for shipping.

I'm on my 2nd M600 in less than 2 years, they all failed with water intrusion to the motor and the cords cracking/falling apart. The first one was removed after every cleaning cycle and was sent back 10+ times, 2nd one is less than a year old and is on trip #5 for repair.

The 2.16 & 2.18 boards are exactly the same. I have both boards. The area in red is where you add the resistors. If I remeber correctl R41 makes it a Pool/Spa, R42 changes from 4 to 8.

Jim- I have it set on the return port. I was hoping that if the pump speed increased above the pool RPM setting, i.e. solar speed that the valve could be set to close. I thought I read on here that there was a possible way to do it, but maybe that was for the IntelliCenter.

I'm wondering why you didn't notice that the HP was running continuously, I could see 1 or 2 days, but 2 months... In 2 months were you ever in the pool? If so, you would have felt the temperature difference coming from the returns and started asking why.

Centipede had issues growing by my overflow in the yard, planted St Augustine and it has no issues.

Not sure if Hayward is different than Pentair. Our equipment was placed in July and the pool was officially turned over to us until May the following year, Pentair's warranty states the date stated is May when the builder submitted all the info.

The light in your link is 12v AC, most landscape light transformers are 12v DC. Check to see what your current transformer is AC or DC. I don't think they make a bridge rectifier that goes from DC to AC, only AC to DC.

Doesn't the new MasterTemps support RS485? If so, why would you want to connect the heater to the fireman switch instead of the 485 port?

I choose salt for both my pools, I can go on vacation for a week and not worry about adding chlorine everyday.
