Sand filter installed $1,100 Cartridge filter installed $1,800 I was told the cartridge filters were better (removed smaller particles/easier to clean and maintain). I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

Does $1,100 sound reasonable for a replacement sand filter? Or should we go to a cartridge filter or something else? Thank you

(3:45am) The pool may have dropped 1.0. No more than that. Now it’s pouring down rain 🌧 at my home while I’m at work.

I checked it again. After adding the R-870 it did turn pink, not bright pink. I believe it is at a 10. I just added 2 more gallons. It is 8:30pm. The pump is set to run 24/7. Can I leave it until the morning (3:45am)? I need to go to sleep for work in the morning.

I saw that on the calculator. It just seems like so little for such a large pool.

I don’t see any algae, but I’ve been unable to hold chlorine all summer long. A month or so ago, I saw algae around my pool light. I dumped several (6 or more) gallons of 10% bleach in.

I’m not holding chlorine. FC - 0 CYA - 25 pH -7.2 The Pool Math says add 399oz. This has to be way too little. Can someone please help. Thank you

I recruited my neighbor to add LC while I’m away. I told him to please use the pool while I’m away.

CYA was 30 a couple of days ago. I did not look at the water temperature, but I would guess in the mid 80’s. I’ll report back when I get test results. I have the kit. I shopped (2) Walmart’s today and they shelves were void of any pucks.

What is a floater? Can I put these pucks in the chlorinator? Or are you recommending me purchasing a “floater”?

I am going to be away for a week. I have been using strictly liquid bleach (10%) to maintain chlorine levels. I will be gone for a week, should I use pucks? I have a chlorinator. If so, what brand, store, do you recommend purchasing these from? Thank you

It’s spraying water out of the top and rear as normal. The rubber on the wheels are gooey. I don’t know the Model number.

I believe the rubber is worn out. Will that cause it not to move. I see the single wheel on the left rotating. It has two big wheels and one small wheel on the right.
