One quick question, how fast will a pool with steel walls corrode using a Saltwater Chlorine Generator?? I assume that they are not recommended for above ground pools??

I am so glad that we made the conversion to Chlorine(bleach). Chlorine gets such a bad rap because people do not watch their Combined Chlorine Levels. The twins and wifey say no burning eyes at all and no skin problems :-D

The pool is sunk in the ground right at 2 ft and I noticed today that it has a few high spots in it a few feet long. I think that we have had so much rain of late that water got under the bottom and caused this? Can I get a large piece of pvc pipe filled with concrete and smooth these back...

What level should I try to keep my CYA level at for a Vinyl lined pool? I was looking at Bens chart and it seens to me that the lower the CYA is kept at the lower the shock will have to be which will be better for the wear and tear on the liner?? How high can I shock for a short period of time...

I am in the process of doing the Bac to Chlorine change and am keeping my FC right at 15 ppm. I just checked my CC and its reading 7. Will this come down when the water clears up and all the BAC is gone?? I hope this aint a stupid question :oops:
