I had the red thing in my Intelliph, too. I just ignored it. The Intelliph is working fine, so I’m not going to disassemble the tank to retrieve it. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to haunt me...

I agree with scdaren. I would not accept that. I had Mini Pebble done in early July, and it is much smoother than the plaster in the pics. I have a hard time believing that is within the "range of normal."

I ran the OCLT last night & had 0.5 ppm FC loss... That tells me I’m losing 5.5 - 6 ppm FC during the day... Any ideas?

I was afraid it might be organics. Perhaps the newly filled pool sitting untreated for 2 days before the PB decided to come back to add start up chemicals caused this? I’ve kept a minimum of 4ppm of CL in it since he added start up chemicals...

Most recent test results: FC 7 CC 0 Ph 7.4 TA 90 CH 250 CYA 50 The pool was just resurfaced with Mini Pebble on July 5th. Have not started the SWG yet... I lose 6-7 ppm of chlorine each day. Is this normal for a newly surfaced pool in the AZ sun & heat? Thanks in advance.
