    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

Do you know which cells work with that power supply. I may go with a 15 or 20 if they will work. Any ideas on the best place to source one? Thanks for your help!

    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

The salinity was low so I brought it up and it is sitting at 3900. I turned it off at the breaker and installed a new fuse. It popped immediately after the ichlor lit up this time. Pic of wiring attached.

    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

So, I was finally able to install the thinner flow switch. The fuse in the power supply did blow before I replaced the flow switch. The new flow switch read the flow but no temp and then somewhere between 12-18 hours later the fuse popped again. Any ideas? Salt cell, another part or full...

    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

It is a Pentair part. Same label on the wires as the one that is in there as well. Manufacturing dates are different of course.

    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

Thanks for the response. That install was what I expected in the video - five minutes max. The one that is in there is a replacement that the pool company put in. I have a new replacement part in hand and the nut on it is the same height as the existing one. I am wondering if the pool company...

    Ichlor 30 flow switch replacement

I am trying to replace the flow switch on my IC30. When removing the switch the top of it hits the bottom of the display housing before allowing wiggle room to get the switch out. Any ideas on how to remove this switch?

New Heater Install - Efficiency Question

They are not very efficient below 55 from what I have read. I schedule mine to run during the heat of the day.

    Polywood Furniture

We bought a bunch of Polywood brand stuff last year. It is high quality but the best part is that you can use a pressure washer to clean it. Our dining set is under trees and after a year had some build up. Spent an hour or so yesterday with the pressure washer and it looks new again.

Selecting the best pool heater for me

Reviving this thread but had some relevant info from this week. We have not been keeping the solar cover on and don’t usually until we get to where the weather is favorable to swim. We pulled it out this past Tuesday night with warmer weather coming. The pool was at 62 when I started heating on...

Selecting the best pool heater for me

If maintaining when the summer temps are here then the HP is definitely the way to go. It gets more efficient with heat and humidity which we have plenty of during the summer. IMHO you may be overthinking this.

Selecting the best pool heater for me

The other way to look at the amount of BTU's available is time. If you choose NG over the HP you will be able to swim quicker but not necessarily cheaper. On the very extreme sides of the season I usually plan a couple of days in advance based on weather to get the pool to temp. That probably is...

Selecting the best pool heater for me

I think that if you look at the propane prices that those rates will be the highest of all the energy sources that you can use to heat a pool. Good luck with the decision!

    Low Voltage LED Landscape Lighting

I bought the Costco package, the build quality was impressive and I ended up purchasing more lights from Volt. I have had them close to a year now with no issues.

Selecting the best pool heater for me

I am about 45 miles south of you. I chose a HP mainly for use in the shoulder season although it gets used some in the deep summer in the evening. If it is cooler than 55 we are not heating the pool anyway. I cover it and run the pump/heater during the hottest part of the day to gain efficiency...

Anyone have experience with a reversible (heat & chill) heat pump?

I cannot really comment on reliability as we had the pool put in about 6 months ago. It has not had a hiccup in that time though. The fan does make a decent amount of noise and generally I turn the volume up on the pool speakers when it is on. It is not off putting and have not seen a guest...

Anyone have experience with a reversible (heat & chill) heat pump?

I have a 140k btu Pentair and like the ability to heat or cool. Have not used the chiller as much as I thought I would but in the whole scheme of things it wasn’t that much more. Any specific questions?
