updating Got the new flow switch in and back to working like a charm. Slam took a day and held it for 2 days to make sure

I test weekly and tend to run hot Tuesday after Labor Day I was at 60 cya/ 6 fc Today 60 cya / 2 fc so just below min Water clear but a couple small spots so should be a quick slam I will order a new flow switch tonight

My pure line swg is saying no flow and has quit generating chlorine. I how have a slight algae breakout (slam time) The gauge on filter (new this year) is reading normal, so I would assume its not clogged/dirty Water out of returns seem normal I took the flow switch out and the flapper moves...

I drain below returns (about 18”) plug returns skimmer ect I have never had to pump out water Mesh does let in some dirt but it cleans up easy in the spring

That’s close to how my skimmer looked with the cicadas and I have a bot skimmer also that was very full every day. I think once they were done the smell of them decaying was way worse . I ran the swg at top of range and pool held up fine

At around 10 and just before the rain this am you can see the heat leaving the pool . By 2 grandkids were swimming. The whole time we were swimming you could see the heat leaving the pool.

Last report on this thread 4th winter and paint is faded, and has chipped off in areas where I drain water down for the winter. Under water areas are fine except for the fading. It looks like we will get 4 years of summer use and will repaint this fall or maybe stretch one more year out of it...

LOL I prefer 86 but happy wife happy life (She does compromise as 80-82 is her perfect swimming temp)
