No Flow ??

My pure line swg is saying no flow and has quit generating chlorine.
I how have a slight algae breakout (slam time)
The gauge on filter (new this year) is reading normal, so I would assume its not clogged/dirty
Water out of returns seem normal
I took the flow switch out and the flapper moves back and forth, spring seems ok
Checked all the connections
Any other thoughts ?
And do flow switches go bad, the way its built does not look like they would break
I bought the unit in May of 2019 and its in use for 5-6 months of the year

Flow switches do fail so yes, they do go bad. If the SWG is all you've been relying on (you didn't post your water test results) you have probably almost zero chlorine and the algae is having a field day now.

I test weekly and tend to run hot
Tuesday after Labor Day I was at 60 cya/ 6 fc
Today 60 cya / 2 fc so just below min
Water clear but a couple small spots so should be a quick slam
I will order a new flow switch tonight

Got the new flow switch in and back to working like a charm.
Slam took a day and held it for 2 days to make sure

It's a 19 cent moving part. I'm kinda surprised *more* don't fail.
