I had been using Pool Mate Stabilizer (off amazon) for the past few years and always had a problem with it dissolving.
Sometimes it would take days to dissolve, even with me giving it a soft squeeze now and then, no mater the water temp.
This year I switched to Robelle Stabilizer (off amazon) and what a difference.
With in minutes it became mushy and it took only and hour to dissolve.
Will not be using pool mate anymore.

Thanks for the info. I normally use the stabilizer from Home Depot with good results but great to have options.

Whoever oversees the quality of Robelle products seems to do a decent job. I have used that stabilizer with good success as well. Also, I recently replaced my vacuum hose with a Robelle hose and it is also of very good quality as compared to some others of similar cost.
