    Spa Plumbing

I figured that they are in a loop, but i just haven't been able to confirm it. Im also curious why that's the only valve that is using 1.5" pvc. Ill try using food dye and see where that goes. What should i use to blow air?

    Spa Plumbing

I did read about that, but what made me think that they weren't T'd is that one of them was clogged and the other wasn't. That made me suspect it could have something to do with the one that has the little black valve that is sawed off. The picture with black pump is just a before picture of the...

    Spa Plumbing

Good afternoon everyone from my favorite forum. I have been using this forum for a while now, and it has saved me a lot of money. Rather than paying someone out here to inform me and advice me on my situation, I rather ask the experts of TFP. I would like to start off with a little background...

    Suction Side Air leak

I actually bought 6 jandy never lube valves. Each valve was about 50 dollars on Amazon. They seem pretty good. Much easier to shut them off.

    Suction Side Air leak

Im really have it wasnt an underground air leak Im just glad it wasn't an underground leak. I replaced every valve on the suction side. Also made sure to weld the new valves, joints with the proper cement. I used high temp unions as well. I have been checking to see if there is any leaks, but...

    Suction Side Air leak

Hey everyone. Just an update on my air leak. So i had a couple pool guys come out to give me an estimate for their labor to install the jandy valves i bought, and the pump. I was quoted some numbers near 2k, and others under 1k. I am 23 years old, and i bought the house about a year ago. Rather...

    Suction Side Air leak

Just an update. So I was never able to find the leak. I tried pretty much everything. My conclusions is that i had developed several air leaks. Considering the conditions and age of valves and joints, i would'nt doubt I had several air leaks. I was also not able to isolate the air leak but...

    Suction Side Air leak

I tried isolating the problem by only leaving one valve at a time as you mentioned, but i still get bubbles. Im starting to think that every joint, or valve maybe be causing the leak. That valve that does not seem to be connected to anything seems to be for a booster pump. Well at least that...

    Suction Side Air leak

Ill try to record a sma Yes. The previous people removed it along with I will try the hose drip technique again starting from the pump and see what happens. I actually did a little bit of digging to expose more of those pipes. Hopefully i also catch some water squirt out when i shut the pump off.

    Suction Side Air leak

I believe it is a pressure side cleaner port. I do not have a booster pump though. There is no suction from that. Most of the water seems to return from that return. It is also the return the releases the most air bubbles.

    Suction Side Air leak

I will be trying this tomorrow. I tried it starting from the lowest point, but I try his technique now.

    Suction Side Air leak

Sorry about that, I am not to familiar with the exact terminology. In that case pool must have 4 returns then. One of the returns does not have an eyeball. Instead, it seems to be 2" female threaded.
