Really need some pool advice. Desperate!!

do not worry TA at this stage. Reduce your PH as per pool-math and start SLAM. During the SLAM PH number is not accurate since FC level is over 10. That's why advisable to reducing PH to 7.2 before starting SLAM in case :) Also while reducing PH if you use MA it will reduce TA as well.

How critical is CSI for an old Gunite pool?

i also advise you to keep you PH around 7.8. TA will go little higher and should be stable around 60. then summer/winter never had issue with CSI. Only the issue It may take little time to stablize PH at 7.8 but after that you would be very comfortable. PH 7.8 sometimes hard to figure out on...

New Pool - no chlorine on day 5 - Shock?

I think things are little different than what you want to explain and what this forum to do. Mostly in this group, people use SWG or liquid Chlorine. No tabs, No shock, nothing etc... So they increase the CYA. CYA/FC ratio is most important number for how much FC do you need to keep always +...

New to TFP, New to Taking Care of my own pool, need some help please!

Slam mean is, depending on your CYA, you will try to keep your FC on shock level. you can see this in cya / fc chart. so, you need a lots of liquid chlorine and you have to keep testing your FC. one day you will check overnight loss less than .5 your pool will be ready. you need patient, enough...
