I had a pool guy by the other day and I asked him about those and he said the same thing.... but I have no been fertilizing anything.... Either way, anyway to get them off?
They're acorn stains or something organic that is falling from a nearby tree. I had the same problem, buy 3" tablets and shuffle them around the pool on each stain for about 2-3 minutes each. they will disappear or fade significantly allowing the chlorine in your pool to take care of the rest.
due to your oak tree .
this small things "acorn"have a acid inside and when they got broken leave a brown spots....
U can try one in drive way, you can see that. Worst thing is, not easy to remove even from concrete.
looks like they got broken in the pool and pool got this color
