I used a 12x24 travertine coping on my pool with square corners (no bullnose). Check my build thread for photos, but I like it way more than the rounded edges. My deck subcontractor said the 12x24 were just standard travertine pieces and it did help reduce my costs.

The gas line conduit is 12” below finish floor under the deck and 18” below finish grade to the meter on the side of the house. We are able to run under the deck since we used a conduit so the line will always be accessible by pulling it out if needed.

Thanks Kim! Im actually traveling for work as of this morning, but I set up the shell with and automatic watering system using soaker hoses and a hose Bibb timer, so it should be all good. Hopefully plenty more updates next week.

Got everything sorted today and all inspections passed. Gunite is scheduled but the company is about a week out, so that will be the next major update, hopefully before November.
