I am in OKC too. The freeze protection of the alternating the spa and pool wasn't keeping up and the pool was freezing up. I turned the heater on and set it to 40 degrees with the pool running 24/7. So far no problems.

If you getting air bubbles, your leak is on the suction side of the pump. Like you said you have to change all the seals. Don't forget the seals in your actuators. There are 2 small O-rings and a larger cover seal in each one.

Looks like a great design. I only question the depth of the pool only 5.5 feet? The summer heat will make the water very warm. My 8 foot deep pool in OKC reaches 86 degrees mid summer.

I have a spa that over flows into the pool when the pump is running. When the pump is not running, the water level in the spa slowly bleeds down. Maybe 3" over night. When I use the spa the water level doesn't leak down. I think that is because of the electric valves move to close off the pool...

My robotic cleaner has a 115V plug that I plug into the outlet on the side of the house. Then you just drop it into the pool. They are the best, because you can run it without running your pump.

My state is auctioning off 16 55 gallon barrels of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. They say the date on it is 2014, or within the last 5 years. They say it is unopened. Do you think it is any good?

The front bearing was bad. Changed out the bearings and front end seals and it runs great. Thanks for the help, and there are a ton of youtube videos that helped out.

What is the fan PC? I couldn't find anything in the parts section. Does the PVC pipe need to be cut to remove the motor section? It looks like the motor will separate from the pump section without cutting the pipes. Thanks for the help.

It's more of a high pitch sound, not so much of a growling noise.

Hello all, My Pentair 2HP pump model WF-28 is making a loud whining noise. It is operating OK. The pump basket is empty. The filter pressure is good at 25 PSI. I don't know what is causing it. I do notice air bubbles returning to the pool. The pump is about 5.5 years old. Any suggestions...
