My state is auctioning off 16 55 gallon barrels of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. They say the date on it is 2014, or within the last 5 years. They say it is unopened. Do you think it is any good?

After 3 years, it will barely be 5%.
Bleach degrades with time. If they are willing to assay the bleach to determine concentration then you can make a reasonable offer. Otherwise you'll be buying expensive salt water.

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure they won't determine the concentration. It would take me years to go through 16 barrels anyway. Thanks for quick reply.
