    Efficient pool pumps

    Electric bill is keeps climbing. Any recommendations for an efficient pump? Has the Ecopump brand passed muster? Currently using a Pentair whisper 2hp.

    Lots of white flakes from return outlets?

    Strange white flakes just appeared under return outlets, what could they be? Added baking soda a few days ago, but never seen this before. Pool 3 yrs., salt gen 9mo. Old.
