My TA drifts down to 30ish as i add acid over time. At those lower levels I don’t have to add acid as often. Why not keep it at 30? What’s the advantage to keeping it higher? Thanks

I’m going on spring break. My PH typicall goes from 7.0 to 8.0 in 4 days. Is it safe for me to bring it down to 6.5ish so I can leave for a week? I don’t want to damage the gunnite or equipment. Thanks!

I manually chlorinate my pool with bleach each day / as needed. The pump is set to run 8 hours but I’m not sure that’s really necessary. Any advice for non salt water pools like mine? If helpful, I live in SW florida, material is gunite, and its 10,000 gallons

How long after I add acid can i test the pool again? I have a new laster pool and an trying to keep the ph under 8. It was 8.2 6 hours ago, i added the required amount of acid per pool math, and it looks like its still 7.8 (instead of 7.0 like i put acid in for) Did i retest too soon?

Hi im considering getting a Labrador retriever. Since they are water dogs I assume it'll jump in the pool all of the time. What is the likelihood the fiberglass will get scratched (steps, etc from the dogs nails)? I'm not sure if fiberglass scratches easily. thanks

Does it make sense to keep the waterfall on every time the pump is running to clean the pool (8 hours a day) or do you only use it when you're using the pool/in the backyard?

I bought some generic "regular scent" bleach at the grocery store. When I used it, it literally had no scent. I'm concerned it's expired or too diluted; does unscented/regular scent not smell like the traditional bleach odor?
