Got lucky?

I was away for 3 weeks so I’ve been relying on 3 trichlor pucks to hold me over. I returned yesterday and had 2 dead rabbits in the filter box (yuck) 0 FC, and 0 CC. That’s where I’m confused- the water was clear, no noticeable algae anywhere, but no FC.

I slammed overnight and past the OCLT (lost .5 FC, CC were .5, water still clear). It just seems like I either got really lucky or am missing something.

Thoughts?

Unless there was some sort of testing error, you may have gotten extremely lucky. Especially since our water temps are starting to climb. Keep an eye on it, but you may have dodged a bullet this time.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tested it twice and got the same result. I’ll keep an eye on it but so far seems too good to be true

Sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield. Sounds like today you might be the windshield.
