Hello. Im from long island fixing old steel inground pool. Found that theres no contrete collar at bottom around. Was talking with people who was doing demolition some pools and he said he never seen any concrete behind steel wall at bottom. How critical is pouring collar?

Actually I have similar problem. I try to fix filled pool. Hired guy with bobcat who damaged little steel walls. I will straighten those walls but not to original exact dimmension. What do you think? If walls will be bent little 1/8-1/4". After that will come foam. Will liner cover small dents...
