When i calculate for "SWG Cell %" it wont let me add a decimal point. Like 2.5, only 1,2,3, etc.. It does let me add decimal point under Pump runtime. I know some SWG dont do single digit adjustments.
It sure does feel like yesterday. Robotina quit moving but i could hear the motor running so i figured it was time to replace wear parts. Which i had order about a year ago but had not changed. I will link to an older thread in which i did small maintenance(2022) mainly to assure there was no...
For those who use testing strips(Accu-Chek) for Blood Sugar(DM) you can use your leftover bottles to store your DPD powder.
Just a tip that works for me.
Most efficient in cooler temps. If anyone is in the market for a heat pump for pool this could be a better option. Its not specifically for pools but will work.

My pump is 4.5 years old and has been working flawlessly about 3-5 hours a day. The story goes like this:
Started to notice an oxidation drip from the back of the impeller housing, very small.
So today in the afternoon i stared the whole process, first was ordering the seal kit a week ago...
Looking back i really wish i could have done my home piping with PEX. Now that i know.
What about using PEX on pools? They are available up to 3in Outside diameter. Has
anybody used it on their pool? Any experience? Not that i will be building one anytime soon,
but very curious.
So short story loooong:
Today after my regular pool chores and adding a new valve to tie up my fresh water cistern(softened) to the pool equipment pad, i started to notice that the IC40 went into reboot and calibration sequence. Thought that it was the 12hr loop but then i recalled my schedule...
A little history, Robotina was bought 3 years ago from a seller on Ebay. He listed it as a Refurbished unit and got about 200 bucks savings from a new one. At first few months Robotina would live 1-3 days underwater. I got lazy and let her live 24/7/365 except for few minutes while wash down and...
On the new pool at the ranch, i finally narrowed it down to a skimmer line leak. Its a quite fast leak with pressure but slow with suction. The good thing is that the skimmer line goes directly to the equipment pad(i have 2 skimmers). My question is how do you try to locate exactly where it is...
TS Hanna is doing a number on us down here. Had to drain about 10 inches of water from pool. Still another 24 hrs to go. This might be an involuntary full Drain/Refill. Not that much but still a lot. The only thing i dont have in hand is CYA, quite hard to get it down here(puck freaks down here).
Since opening the pool 2 years ago, i had to slam 2 times due to slightly hazy water. The last slam was about 2 weeks ago, let the FC drop slowly over a week to a FC of 8ppm(CYA 60). Then 2 days later BOOM hazy water again:mad:, since i could not find a logical source of algae since i never had...
Just when you think you looked everywhere, BAM, the weir door foam. Never imagined i had to look there. Never had dull water just FC loss of 4-5ppm with cool weather and low UV index. Started cleaning the skimmer for a complete brushing and found this. I would recommend finding a higher density...
@Leebo:
I wanted to read back some notes i made on my configuration page and they are several lines. When i put the cursor on the notes field i need to leave the finger pressed to scroll the note field. Can it be made as self adjusting the notes window, as to show the full content?
When you want...

As i understand it when we add hypochlorite it will quickly reach an equilibrium between hypochlorous and hypochlorite???
Is it marketing Hype?
