Well, got a line on a 011056 from a LPS for 950 out the door, which seems like a pretty decent price. Self-install doesn't seem too complicated so unless I can find a better option that's probably the route I will go. The PL2616 is tempting as well, but...the ability to get the 011056 today is...

The Inyopool Pureline pumps look decent, however I can only find one consumer review of any sort and its not even on the VS pump. While I have a relatively high degree of faith in Inyopool....I'm not inclined to go a route I can't at least do some research on.

Sorry to hear about the algae... You don't need to shock, you need to SLAM. But before you can SLAM, that PH has to get down to 7.2-7.5. I'll reiterate what I said before...if you want to use TFP methodology, ditch the pool service. Doing both won't work. TFP works. It works beautifully...

Ok, so you have a TF-100, but the pool service is using pucks. FC, CYA, and TA are all out of desired range. I don't see a reading for PH. CYA needs to ideally be cut in half. FC needs to be brought up based on the chart Woodyp linked above. Once those things are sorted out, then the TA...

That CYA level is on the verge of unmanageable and as woody pointed out the FC is too low. This is a recipe for disaster. Fire the pool guy, get a test kit, and then you can be the pool boy and she can have a TFP. Win-win for everyone.
