Here’s how I got it setup. Used the pump for the 1st time today. Have it hooked up to the WiFi timer mentioned above. Is it best to put chlorine in different times of day or all at once. Eventually going to get another timer for pool pump to turn off at night time.

Ordered the 85 since it was roughly $25 cheaper. Got my pad poured today with reservoir.

Looking on amazon I see the stenner45 mphp10 for $269 and I also see a stenner 85mphp17 for $ $244. Would the 85 be a better pump since it has a higher gpd.

Just tested the pool water. Seems to be about 72 degrees. How critical is it to wait till 60* if you put algicide in pool. Cover is solid.

Not sure what all kind of algicide my local pool place has. Does it have to be poly 60. So my chlorine needs to be back down to normal levels before adding algicide

Closing the pool now. Brought the Chlorine level up to slam level. Had the wife go to pool store to get some algicide, she came home with baquacil algicide. Will this be ok to use.

Oclt Last night had a f.c. of 5ppm and this morning 4.5 ppm. Had another small pile of ants on bottom as well.

Using the Taylor test kit. When I add the drops to turn sample from pink to clear on the chlorine test. I count the drops then multiply. Sometimes over the course of a few minutes my sample will turn back to a lite pink color. Does that matter

Is it uncommon to add a gallon of 10% bleach every day. F.c was 3 yesterday added what bleach i had ( a gallon). Test now is 3.5.
