I haven’t found anything that says there are different strengths of soda ash. I put half of what pool math app said to and that was to raise 0.3 pH

It only does it when I am in the pool. Nothing standing outside the pool. I’ve removed the bonding wire and scrubbed it and the connection clean. Electrician drove a ground stake in the ground I guess to look for any stray voltage. Who knows. I’m nuts.

And just a reminder there is ZERO tingling (actually more of a burn) in front of the skimmer. Just IN it.

New dual speed is great. So very quiet on both high and low. Whether it’s just appearance or better filtering, on low it appears much cleaner. No more small pile of stuff in the middle of the pool. Eye is aimed the same.

Anything connected to the motor uses terminal ends. Edit: so you are saying the wiring is only for testing and three electricians that install pools here all don’t know that? I’m not saying you’re wrong I just find that disturbing

Wow on high this is much quieter than the old one. On low it is really quiet. Pump installed. Fresh cut. No tingle. Forgot last year it was tripping the breaker. Had the store bench test it and they said pump was fine. Got it back and installed and never tripped breaker again. Leads me...

Sub and timer look clean. Main panel may need CBs checked or replaced. They rebuilt the panel a few years ago due to corrosion (main wouldn’t even shut all the lights off) and didn’t replace most of the CBs.

Interesting reading. My decking was built after the fact and is made of wood. Pool ladder is plastic. Was the deck supposed to be tied into the bonding?

Does that mean wiring is reversed? If so, what wiring as this has been like this since installed. Has to be.
