Thanks for all the info After aerating overnight to 7.8 I added acid this morning to bring it down to 7.4. My TA is now 100 and I think I shall leave it like that for the time being I use a large pond aerator with 4 giant air stones with an air yield of 6000 litres per hour.

Hi I have Hydrochloric acid 36% and don't see a relation between it in Pool Maths. Should I just go with 29% and just put a bit less in or is there a formula to convert I would also like to know the difference between Baume and Percent

Having just done AA treatment and wonder if lead from a dive belt could add more staining to the fibreglass pool surface

That's correct I'm using sodium hypochlorite My CYA is 20 as advised by chemgeek (I have a covered pool, polycarbonate roof and glass sides) My pH and TA is quiet stable

Hi I'm doing an AA treatment and would like to know how to test for pH when it's lower than 7 bearing in mind that I don't want to overdo the increase I suspect that there is a way by adjusting the test water sample or adding more drops

Hi All I check new posts daily and I'm an avid member of this community I'm doing an AA treatment and need to reduce my pH from 7.8 to 7.2 Pool math says I need to add 1571ml of muriatic acid I'm OK with that, I then factored in reducing my TA from 120 to 80 at the same time and the results...

Why don't you disconnect the pump, take it out, defrost, and test. You can then reinstall and see what leaks or doesn't If you are lucky you may be able to winterise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
