Just get some skimmer equalizers to put in your skimmers. They will equalize the flow for you.

Re: Dirty water in return jets Sounds like it might be a bad multiport. If the spider gasket or key top assembly is bad then it'll let dirty water go into your returns. Also another symptom of a bad multiport is losing water thu the backwash line while on filter.

That Whisper flow pump will get loud if it doesn't have enough back pressure of 11 psi. So you might have to use the valves to restrict flow to quiet the pump down. That means a smaller motor will have the same issue. Try closing off the 2 valves to the right a bit and see if that quiets...

Sounds like you lid gasket for your pump may start to be failing. Make sure there is no debree on the gasket and use Teflon based lube on you gasket. As long as you don't see air in your pump you are good to go. If you do see air then I would replace the lid gasket.
