Pentair Posi-Clear RP Cartridge filter lid leaking

Last weekend, I cleaned the cartridge as I regularly do, put the lid and the lock ring back and everything seemed ok. This model has no gasket or clamps and the lock ring clicks in place without any problems.
The next day, I noticed there was leakage through the lid, what never happened before.
I then removed the lid, cleaned it and the edge of the tank, applied waterproof silicone lube, put it back and it seemed ok. The next day, it was leaking again.
Every time I do any of this kind of work, when I start the pump, I keep the air relief valve open until water flows through it to bleed the air.
However, in the morning when the timer activates the pump, of course the air relief valve is closed, what made me wonder if there was excessive air pressure causing the leak (although the pressure gauge was in the normal range).
Just in case, I checked the air bleed sock and also removed the valve cover to check if there was blockage on the valve stem. Everything was ok.
Now, the lid still leaks a bit after I bleed the air, and leaks more when no air is bled, such as when the pump is activated in the morning.
Would I need to replace the lid, and if I did, would a new lid fit on an old tank? Just the lid itself is quite expensive ($150+) and the whole thing is over $500, so I am seeking help to try to solve the problem without having to replace them.
Thank you

Did you remove, clean, lube the O ring that seals the tank? Is it flattened and need replacing?

You are absolutely right! I don't know how I missed it!
I inspected the o-ring and did not notice anything wrong with it. Just in case, I ordered a new one and hopefully it will fix it.
Thanks a lot for pointing it out.
