13,

If the spa drains down quickly, then most likely you have bad diverter in your Spa Return valve.

When you thing about it, all the water that is sucked out of the spa has to go back to the spa..

So, where else can the problem be??? Where can the water go but back to the spa, if everything is ok?

Thanks,

Jim R.

You have manual valves.

If the both valves are not set perfectly closed then you will have an imbalance in the water flow with some water leaking into the pool.

It can also be caused if the diverter int he valve is not sealing properly.

Show us overhead pics of the suction and return valves so we can see exactly how they are set.

I do not know what these valves connect to but neither looks perfectly closed.

Look at the way the lines on the handle do not evenly align with the two screws.

It’s gotta be the angle of the pic because those don’t turn anymore.

The top picture that you have the red lines are is off to the waterfall (return)- definitely no water coming from there. It’s been off for a few years.

The bottom pic with the red lines is off to the rest of the pool. It would be the suction from the whole pool- skimmers and MD. Open to get water from the spa.
