So I have Aqualink and a few days ago I noticed my pool not on during its schedule.I’ve replaced the relay that send the signal to the pump to turn on. The aqualink still turns on lights and the actuators move if I press spa mode the only thing that won’t turn on is the pump. If I reset the breaker the pump will then come on but if I turn it off it won’t turn back on. The breaker isn’t tripped either. I checked all the wires in the 4 pin connector as wel. The red one was out and I’ve put it back in and the problem still persists. Only able to turn on the pump if reset the breaker.

Does the automation just turn the pump on and off? Or does it also change the pump's speeds?
Do you have some kind of control cable that goes to the pump or just the AC power cable?
What 4 wire cable? Does this cable go to any of the relays?

Usually just for turning it on or off. I just hit the on button and the pump comes on. There’s different speeds by default like I hit clean mode or spa mode but I rarely use those. Theres the 4 pin conector it has the red black green and yellow. that’s at the controller and the other end at the pump.

There’s 4 red plastic connectors if you look at the bottom of the one of the photos. Those connect to the 4 relays I got.
If you have a comm cable for your pump then there is no need for the pump to be powered via a relay. What does your VS pump setup look like?

If your pump is powered from the GFCI breaker then it's not going through a relay. What does the VS pump setup look like in iAqualink?

Only one of your relays is actually connected to do anything and I suspect it is for your lights or maybe a cleaner pump.
Tell us what Aux 1, 2 and 3 are for...
It appears to me that your pump is being controlled by an RS-485 serial comp port cable.
If the pump is getting AC power, then the problem is that your RS-485 communication is not working.
It could be bad, or it could be that you do not have the pump scheduled to run.
I'd like to help more, but I don't have much experience with Aqualink systems.

Aux 1 is for lights. 2 is for the bubbler and I dont know what 3 does off the top pf my head. Maybe heater?

Trust me. You’re helping. But the tricky part is that the lights and actuators can be controlled and I’m able to turn it on from automation only and only it turn the breaker off and on and only just once.

The lights and actuators work because they are not controlled by the RS-485 com port. Most likely it just controls your pump.
What shows up if you select the "Speed Setup" button?

You have two RS-485 wires connected to one red terminal block. And nothing connected to the other terminal block.
First thing I would do is separate the two wires and connect each one to a separate red RS-485 terminal block.
Do you have an iAqualink antenna? Is that the other Rs-485 wire?
How old is your ePump? I think you may have an internal problem in your ePump eletronics if it works once after you reset it by powering the pump off and then on.

Yes the other wire goes to the antenna. Pump is 2 years old, had it running daily for 12 hours and about 6 months ago brought it down to 10 hours daily. I was wondering why the pool company put them both in the same one. One of the red wires was not connected when I took that pic two days ago, I put them all back in and re tightened. I’ll connect them separately tomorrow. Jandy service guy mentioned on the phone it could be pump motor? "If" the pump is bad it will be the control head.
You should be able to run the pump from the pump's control head. If you do that, then there is nothing wrong with the motor, and not much wrong with the control head other than remote operation.
I still think that you have an RS-485 control problem, but then, as I said, I have very little Jandy experience.
Have you tried to run the pump in a standalone mode?

Jumpering Jandy ePump RS-485 control
You can cut about 5-6 inches of the RS-485 cable and open the cover of the pump and remove the existing RS-485 cables. Jump pins 1 to 3 and 2 to 4 once you finish with the connection turn on the pump, if the pump starts to work then you know there is an issue with the RS-485 connection.Jandy Aqualink RS - Further Reading

The Jandy VSPlusHP pump has no control panel to run in standalone mode. You control it with RS-485 automation or but a separate JEP-R controller.
You can jumper it to run without a controller as I posted in #16.
Those pumps give you no fallback mode if the RS-485 control fails.

There’s a service mode on the controller if I was doing maintenance at the box. I can control it all from there but it reacts the same. Can’t turn it on. When you say control head do you mean like a control panel for speeds etc directly on the pump? Cause mine doesn’t have any of that. No buttons whatsoever. Everything is controlled from what I showed. I think my best bet is to just have the service guy come out.

Check the wires of the RS-485 cable to the pump with a multimeter for continuity.
Replace the four wire cable.
