Loose Cap Over Skimmer

I have a piece of stone over one of my skimmers where the mortar has come away from the stone, and the stone is now loose. Is re-setting this stone a job for a mason, or do I need somebody with any specific pool skills? Thank you!

Any good mason should be able to handle it.

What is the surface under the stone that it attaches to?

Thanks! It sits over one of the skimmers.

Yes, but the stone does not attach to the top of the skimmer. And the stone bridges where the skimmer mouth is.

So what does the stone attach to?

The mason will have to lift the stone and see if there are problems with where it attaches.

I can't tell anything from the pics you posted.
