Got it. Think the dark spots go away or remain? I’m less concerned with the lights/returns.

So finally had a chance to do a detailed review of the patio. Posting my concerns here to find out if the community thinks I’m being too picky or reasonable 
Our patio is a significant portion of the build. We have over 1500sqft of concrete.
At the corner of a swim out step, they errored on the tile. They should have cut a piece earlier in the run to avoid this. Only thing I can think of to remediate is have plaster put there? Maybe it's okay as is?
When they cut the patio this chunked off. I think it will only get worse, but not sure if there's anything that can be done to remediate.
One of the teams took a pretty decent gouge out of our patio here. The lines are a few inches long each.
When they were finishing the concrete this area was giving them trouble. When they filled this spot, it's not a rough edge and you can see some concrete splatters on the patio.
The plaster guys left a stain here on the patio. Not sure if this will go away on its own or not.

It is a pool not a piece of art.
Concrete work often has flaws. It is rarely perfect.
Decks are often done last and after plaster so you don’t have workmen stomping over the new deck.
This is like the first scratch you get on a new car. Give it some time and nature and use will add to these flaws.

First real snafu this morning. The startup chemicals were added this morning, but pump wouldn't turn on. Guys confirmed the pump was not wired correctly so now we wait.

Photo of the equipment pad. They said after 30 days the IC40 would go where that yellow looking pipe is. Is that typical?

That yellow pipe is a dummy cell. So they just unscrew the unions on it and install the IntelliChlor cell.
The only thing about your install is Pentair says on page 4 of the Installation Manual:

- Note: For best flow sensing, provide at least 12"-18" of straight pipe in front of the cell inlet.
- The IntelliChlor SCG should be at least three (3) feet away from the heater outlet.
Thanks. Curious what, if any impact, this would have? Only asking because I'm not sure how they would remediate this given how it's already set up.

Mount the cell vertically like shown in the manual solves those problems in that space.
Hard to say what impact it has but Pentair must have some reasons for saying it.

Turns out the builders also put in a single speed pump instead of variable like the contract stated. They spent a half day fixing wiring for the single speed because it was wired for a variable speed. When I told them it’s supposed to be variable speed they were surprised.
Always the little details / easy stuff that gets missed.

The fix for those areas could be much worse than what is there now.
Not a great day today.
- Slide came and is the wrong one. Curves to the left when it should curve to the right.
- Diving board came and the board only overhangs the pool wall by 8.5". This is going to be a big mess since the mounts are in the pool deck.
- Pentair is too far from my wifi so, while we were able to update the firmware, we're unable to create an account so I can use my mobile device.
I think 2-3 feet is the standard diving board overhang, but I'm not sure if there is a code that says that or just general preference. Could you have your builder swap out for a 10 foot diving board?
You can put longer wire between the pentair control panel and the little wifi unit that typically hangs out by the equipment and hang that unit closer to the nearest wifi point. My installer did that trying to fix a problem, and just buried the wire between the control panel and the wifi unit. (Didn't end up being the problem, so I pulled the wire back up again so not sure of longevity of that solution!)
Yes, 2-3 feet is code and it's established in the code regs. I suspect they might go with 10 foot, but not clear if that's an easy swap or not.
